Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 (バブルガムクライシス TOKYO2040)
After an earthquake devastates Tokyo, the city rapidly rebuilds using humanoid robots called boomers, machines now plagued by random neural breakdowns that send them rampaging through the streets. While the Advanced Police struggle to contain the crisis, whispers emerge of the Knight Sabers, a shadowy vigilante unit. When adventurous Linna Yamazaki arrives in Tokyo pursuing her heroes, she encounters the enigmatic singer Priscilla Asagiri, entrepreneur Sylia Stingray, and exuberant Nene Romanova. As the group unites against the boomer threat, they uncover a conspiracy far darker than anyone anticipated, with the megacorporation Genom Corporation at its heart.
