Big Windup! (Ookiku Furikabutte)
Also known as: おおきく振りかぶって
Ren Mihashi was a middle school baseball ace whose poor pitching left him bullied and broken by teammates who stopped trying to win. Moving to Nishiura High in another prefecture to escape the sport entirely, he is unexpectedly drafted as the starting pitcher. With encouragement from catcher Takaya Abe, who sees untapped potential in him, Mihashi gradually rebuilds his shattered confidence and discovers a team willing to believe in his abilities.
